Working in the Business Navigation team:
The Business Navigation team is the beating heart of Wyre that enables the organization to navigate its day-to-day operational and business activities by providing guidance, securing, improving, and standardizing processes, tools, and data insights. As a data strategist, you bring together the company’s data insights and initiatives by acting as a bridge-builder between technical and data experts with other stakeholders, including the leadership team, all while aiming to drive scalable, data-driven impact throughout Wyre.
Your role as a Project Manager:
1. Manages as Single Point Of Contact (SPOC) (from a portfolio) of End-to-End projects to ensure that they run within timing and according to specifications and budgeted costs by being aware and/or monitoring the dependencies of other initiatives within Wyre, translating the scope into a roadmap, deliverables, solutions and a schedule so that the project can be delivered according to the defined objectives, benefits and with attention to internal/external customer satisfaction. The PM can be responsible for formulating/initiating business cases including budget, challenging them with different stakeholders and defending them to governance bodies.
2. Plans, leads, coordinates, manages and motivates (a) project team(s) of internal/external stakeholders (employees, partners, subcontractors, virtual teams ...). Defines different scenarios and solutions, taking into account the constraints, different expectations, opinions and visions within the team and/or the teams and aligning them.
3. Follows-up on projects by using and/or setting up formal processes and tools to manage resources, budgets, risks and changes for business case management, budget management, resourcing of up-to-date information.
4. Provides periodic and ad-hoc reporting to different levels with internal/external stakeholders to manage project progress.
5. Performs risk management by proactively identifying, analyzing and responding to risks/evolutions/problems that may occur during the project lifecycle to ensure that the project remains on track and objectives are met.
6. Identifies expectations of internal/external stakeholders, manages change(s) and (potential) conflicts, reconciles conflicting interests and monitoring organizational/operational readiness including through timely and correct communication about the project (stakeholder management).
Our ideal Project Manager:
7. You have a master's degree in a business or technology domain or comparable experience and have at least 5 years of relevant experience.
8. You have an excellent command of Dutch and English.
9. You have experience in stakeholder management. You can collaborate seamlessly with both internal and external stakeholders by building long-term relationships.
10. You possess effective communication skills, ensuring messages are conveyed accurately and tailored to the targeted audience with impact.
11. You have robust performance and storytelling abilities, able to influence decision-makers effectively.
12. You demonstrate effective leadership qualities and empowers colleagues and teams to autonomously determine how to deliver data driven value.
13. You have a can-do mentality, can prioritize activities, and possess strong project management skills, combined with a pragmatic approach.
14. You can collaborate with business leaders to identify and prioritize issues.
15. You can see things from a broad perspective (“helicopter vision”).
16. You have at least interest in the telecommunication sector. Having familiarity with the telecommunications landscape, HFC (Hybrid Fiber Coax), or FTTH is a plus.
