As Finance Manager, you will ensure the efficient financial operation of our organisation. You act as the CFO's right hand in financial reporting and the optimisation of business and financial processes. Your analytical insight and proactive attitude make you a crucial partner for the management team. You are responsible for overseeing all financial operations, managing financial planning and analysis and ensuring compliance. You will provide analysis and insights that help drive the growth of the business. This responsibility includes all Delta Light Group businesses financially managed directly from HQ.
Tasks and responsibilities
* Financial reporting: Further develop internal reporting and KPIs and ensure accurate and timely delivery of monthly management reporting.
* Budget management: Steering the annual budget process and interim forecasts. Supervise department heads and regional managers in the preparation of budgets through cost-effective allocation of resources and critically evaluate this.
* Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations, standards and tax obligations. Coordinate external audits.
* Strategic input: Supporting the CFO and the BOD in drafting the long-term strategic plan and monitoring its implementation.
* Optimising financial processes and strengthening and monitoring internal control mechanisms.
* People management: Leading and coaching the HQ finance team and promoting cross-departmental cooperation.
Profile
* Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Economics or a similar field.
* Minimum 10 years‘ relevant experience in a finance role, preferably within an international and/or manufacturing environment and minimum 3 years’ experience in a managerial role.
* Thorough knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles and financial analysis.
* Experience with a reporting tool (Qlik, Tableau, Prophix,...)
* Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting and financial planning.
* Experience with SAP and advanced knowledge of Excel.
* You have excellent knowledge of the Dutch and English languages.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial information understandably to non-financial stakeholders.
* Accurate and able to work independently in a dynamic environment.
