PRG is active in 72 locations worldwide. For our location in Tildonk, Belgium, we are looking for a Head of Crew Planning.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Theater Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. Proven experience in crew planning, resource management, or production scheduling within the entertainment industry.
3. Strong leadership abilities with the proven capacity to effectively manage and motivate teams.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
5. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
6. Proficiency in industry-specific software and tools for crew scheduling and resource management.
7. You are computer literate; excellent knowledge of Excel is a must.
8. A passion for the entertainment industry and a commitment to delivering high-quality productions.
9. You are Dutch and/or French speaking (with a good knowledge of the other language), in addition you are fluent in English (company language).
Responsibilities
As the Head of Crew Planning, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic planning and allocation of crew members for all our production projects. You will work closely with various stakeholders, including production managers, department heads, and talent coordinators, to ensure that our productions are adequately staffed with the right talent, at the right time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement comprehensive crew planning strategies to support the successful execution of all production projects.
2. Collaborate with production managers, sales managers, and department heads to understand project requirements and forecast crew needs accordingly.
3. Oversee the scheduling and allocation of crew members, taking into account skill sets, availability, and budgetary constraints.
4. Continuously optimize crew utilization and allocation processes to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
5. Manage a team of crew planners, providing leadership, guidance, and support as needed.
6. Serve as the primary point of contact for crew-related issues and inquiries, resolving conflicts and addressing concerns in a timely and professional manner.
7. Stay informed of industry trends and best practices in crew planning and resource management, incorporating relevant insights into our processes and workflows.
