Main Responsibilities
As a Senior Marketing Manager US, you are responsible for helping us launch STST in the new market. You will work closely with a core team based in the US and in Europe. Your first responsibility is to successfully launch STST in the market, developing the right brand communication & activation plan for the US. In a second step, your role is to understand market needs, customer insights, product specifics, and trends to build a strategic marketing plan for future growth in the US market. You will be based in Brussels.
* Market research: broaden our market knowledge in the US from qualitative and quantitative points of view. Understand the competitive environment, needs of our segments, consumer behavior, perception in the US of our values, etc.
* Provide clear recommendations and actions based on a strong understanding of consumer needs and the market environment, built on synthesis and interpretation of a full range of insight resources.
* Create a strong value proposition & positioning proposal based on the global guidelines - Glocal approach.
* Define the right messaging framework to win in the US, based on our Global brand direction.
* Develop a strategic marketing plan to grow in the US based on the company’s vision.
* Create a marketing budget to support the brand expansion.
* Define product strategy with support from the design team and US PMs, define a clear pricing strategy, and ensure product service availability in the market.
* Build a communication strategy on how to enter the market and generate buy-in for our target audience.
* Help the digital team to set up the digital customer journey for the US consumer.
* Advise in building the local team.
Your Profile
* You hold a master's degree in Marketing or a related field.
* You have a minimum of 15 years of experience in B2B Marketing and international acumen.
* You have worked in or been exposed to the US market; you are an expert in this market.
* You have successfully launched a new brand in the US and have strong business acumen.
* You are at ease with marketing research and statistical analysis.
* You are proactive with excellent project management skills.
* You can draw up and monitor budgets.
* You have experience with Communication & Digital strategy.
* You are ready to work for a fast-paced, international company that sets the bar within the industry, willing to be operational and strategic.
* You are fluent in English.
