• You will join a team of Control strategy and modeling experts within the Controls Group.
• Design and implementation of functional safety control functions (safety mechanisms) according to the ISO26262 documentation guidelines and processes.
• Development of software according to the Model Based Design processes (modeling, verification & validation and calibration).
• Development of test specifications for safety requirements
• Perform unit testing in MIL environment
• Supporting test bench and HIL tests
• Perform system/vehicle validation of functional safety requirements.
• Datamining to analyze vehicle measurements to check correct behavior of safety mechanisms (avoid false positives, check reaction when injecting faults)
• Support functional safety technical work products and activities in the organization (e.g. technical safety concept, technical safety requirements, FTA's, FMEA's, and other safety analyses for safety requirements).
Profile / Requirements :
• Master's degree or higher in the field of Controls, Automotive, Mechatronic or Electronic Engineering.
• 1+ years of functional safety experience from automotive or related field, in the area of Control systems.
• Proficient knowledge of ISO26262 or equivalent standards.
• Proficient level knowledge of model-based design using Matlab-Simulink
• Practical experience with vehicle testing and data acquisition systems
• Good knowledge about Clutch-type transmissions in general is a plus
• You proceed according to a good methodology in development and problem solving.
