Roles & Responsibilities
Your challenges
1. You are responsible to further develop the KPMG energy management and energy sourcing practice in Belgium, primarily in terms of service offering but also in terms of go to market initiatives.
2. Operationally manage energy management projects, encompassing for example the articulation of energy strategies and end-to-end execution of corporate Power Purchase Agreement activities.
3. Develop new value propositions that emerge from trends on the energy market, burning customer challenges and insights from other practices at KPMG while leveraging on your in-depth experience of the energy market.
4. Seek and actively manage the relationship with the energy management ecosystem of technical engineering desks and energy management tools.
5. Operationally coordinate a team of highly motivated professionals
and provide on the job training in energy market mechanisms to our team of young professionals
6. Build and maintain your internal network within KPMG, both nationally and internationally with the perspective to raise awareness regarding the value proposition and co-create opportunities.

Skills & Qualifications
7. 10 years or more of work experience in the Energy Sector or in Energy management, with bulk of the experience related to the Belgian/European energy market.
8. You have an academic diploma.
9. Demonstrable conceptual and/or strategic work experience.
10. You have knowledge of the concepts of energy risk management, energy pricing, balancing, corporate Power Purchase Agreements and green molecules.
11. You are native Dutch-speaking and have a good command of the English language, knowledge of French is optional.
