Key Responsibilities:
7. Assist in identifying potential hazards, evaluate risk and reduce them (including fire hazards and disaster risks), in mid and downstream industrial settings.
8. Support in conducting both qualitative and quantitative risk assessments to prevent accidents and mitigate risks.
9. Collaborate with senior engineers in developing safety protocols and emergency response strategies.
10. Participate in the analysis of incidents to determine root causes and enhance safety measures.
Qualifications:
11. Master’s degree in Chemical, Process, HSE, or Mechanical Engineering.
12. Fluency in French and English; additional language skills in Dutch or German are a plus.
13. Strong analytical skills with a focus on identifying and solving complex safety issues.
14. A proactive, engaged approach to work, with a commitment to continuous learning.
15. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
