Job purpose:
You will contribute to the GSK Vaccines strategy in your area of responsibility:
1. Contribute to production by aligning material and human resources and skills.
2. Ensure the performance and commitment of the team in order to achieve production objectives while guaranteeing EHS, Quality, Costs, and Supply requirements.
3. Be responsible for a team of workers and/or employees (between 10 and 15 people).
4. Manage your team on a daily basis by ensuring the level of performance, motivation and priorities on value-added activities.
5. Play a driving role in the continuous development of the members of your team.
In this role, you will have the following responsibilities:
1. Supervise and manage daily operations related to vaccine production (bulk, formulation, and filling).
2. Participate in the development of the production plan for the coming period based on the standard agenda while including needs such as maintenance, validation, EHS, and development.
3. Evaluate the resources necessary for its realization.
4. Use resources where it has the most impact and is most critical to the organization.
5. Ensure compliance while remaining agile and remedy any gaps as soon as possible.
6. Ensure the follow-up of KPI's related to Quality, Supply, and EHS in its area, monitor them and guarantee the deployment of possible actions.
7. Identify value-added activities and do what is necessary for your team to focus on them.
8. Be able to carry out investigations for deviations from its sector.
9. Be involved in the definition, execution, and/or coordination of Change Controls in your sector.
10. Dare to say “no” by giving meaning and stay aligned with priorities.
11. Animate or participate in certain governance meetings.
12. Participate in the drafting of production documents.
13. Simplify, standardize, and challenge the status quo for continuous improvement purposes.
14. Know the continuous improvement ecosystem and tools and apply them on a daily basis to contribute to the continuous improvement of production activities and resources.
15. Ensure compliance of operations with cGMP and authority requirements and contribute to production quality in close collaboration with QA by taking corrective actions if necessary.
16. Be the task owner in the eCCs.
17. Write and be the owner of minor and major deviations whose problems are related to your field of activity and be responsible for the definition and implementation of the associated CAPAs.
18. Perform internal audits, participate in inspections of subjects within your scope during internal and external (FDA, WHO, EMA, etc.) audits and participate in the definition of the associated responses.
19. Ensure effective communication and optimal collaboration within your team, and vis-à-vis other partners (TS, QA, Supply, HR, EHS, support teams, LT) within his S/MPU.
20. Apply the recommended processes while ensuring compliance with Change Management processes.
21. Ensure compliance on EHS topics in your field of activity and develop the EHS mindset within the team.
22. Ensure that all people working in your production area remain safe at all times.
23. Ensure that all risk assessments are carried out and of the understanding of the risks by his team.
24. Participate in risk assessments with the risk assessor and benefits from the support of the competent functions.
25. Understand and ensure operational implementation of risk assessments.
26. Regularly check that the training of your team is up to date as well as the risk profiles.
27. Implement corrective actions and monitor the effectiveness of corrective actions.
28. Ensure transversal sharing of CAPAs in your community of practice.
29. Follow EHS processes and anticipate as much as possible the risks associated with all activities in your production area.
30. Manage your team by a daily presence in the field of at least 50% in line with the standard agenda.

Why you?
University degree in Chemistry, pharmacy, bioengineering or other scientific orientation or equivalent relevant experience.
A minimum of two years experience leading a team or closely working with manufacturing within the pharmaceutical industry.
Fluency in French, good commands of English (spoken and written).
Leadership skills: ability to impact and influence others.
Excellent EHS and Quality mindset.
Ability to develop and build strong interpersonal relationships with peers.
Analytical skills, strong planning, problem-solving and prioritization skills.
Communicative and people-oriented with an ability to give and receive feedback.
Works well under pressure, independently and collaboratively to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
