Scientific & Technical Recruiter, MSP Operations Manager
To join the Non-Clinical Safety Evaluation team of a multinational company located in Walloon Brabant, we are looking for a Chemical and Environmental Safety Officer. In this role, you will support toxicological evaluations of impurities and chemical substances in the context of pharmaceutical research and development. You will join a growing and dynamic team, and you will be mentored by experts.
Responsibilities:
1. Toxicological Evaluation: Conduct safety evaluations for chemical impurities and associated risks (including risks for workers and patients).
2. Literature Review: Perform research and analysis using public databases and scientific publications to support toxicological assessments.
3. Risk Assessment: Contribute to risk assessments related to personal protective equipment (PPE) in the development process.
4. Modeling and Mathematical Tools: Apply mathematical models to assess the toxicity of substances using specialized software programs.
5. CMC (Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Controls) Support: Assist in evaluating mutagenic impurities in drug manufacturing processes.
6. Collaboration: Work with external consultants and laboratory partners to obtain necessary analysis and test results.
7. Document Writing in English: Prepare toxicological evaluation reports and technical documents in English and participate in English-language meetings.
Required Profile:
1. Education: Degree in Biomedical Sciences, Pharmacy, or Chemistry with an interest in toxicology.
2. Experience: 0 to 3 years of experience, ideally in a field related to toxicology, chemistry, or risk assessment.
3. Languages: French and English both spoken and written.
4. European Toxicologist Certification: After 5 years of experience, the possibility of certifying as a European Toxicologist.
