Production Director
We are looking for a driven professional to lead and optimize production processes within our rapidly growing organization. As Production Director, you will have the unique opportunity to shape your own team in a startup environment, work with advanced technologies, and contribute to the development of high-quality glass products.
Key Responsibilities
* Performance & Project Management: Develop and implement production plans and strategies to meet production objectives (KPIs), take an active leadership role in continuous improvement and investment projects (OPEX and CAPEX).
* Analyze and present production data to the management team on performance and areas for improvement.
* Stimulate the team towards innovation, increased efficiency, quality, and independence through coaching and people-oriented leadership.
* Process Optimization, Innovation & Development: Manage budget and cost-effectiveness within the department.
* Plan and execute maintenance and investment projects.
* Collaborate with Supply Chain and Sales departments for smooth production flow.
* Quality Management: Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards within the production environment.
* Leadership & Coaching: Build a functional production department with engaged employees.
* SUPPORT team development and motivate them through coaching, mentoring, and training.
* Member of the management team.
* Lead and coordinate all production activities to ensure efficient operations.
Requirements
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant technical and/or management field.
* At least 10 years of experience in leadership roles within production or operations.
* Excellent knowledge of glass production processes and LEAN manufacturing techniques.
* Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to motivate teams through coaching and training.
* Proven experience in budget management and cost control.
* Excellent communication skills in English and Dutch.
* Problem-solving ability and hands-on mentality to tackle challenges efficiently.
* Experience with ERP systems (SAP) and production software solutions is a plus.
* Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders and customers.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Able to manage change in a dynamic and complex environment.
* Ability to think strategically in a fast-paced environment.
