Responsibilities / Tasks
Reporting to the Senior Director, the Sales Engineer will be responsible for:
1. Generating Requests For Quotation (RFQ’s) and significant Sales pipeline.
2. Establishing and manage customer (including local key account) relationships and direct Sales.
3. Ensuring customer satisfaction and is present at trade fairs
4. Managing and maintaining a pipeline prospects, leveraging CRM tools to support prospect targeting, pipeline management and reporting.
5. Pre-sales, offer management, negotiation and deal closing.
6. Giving product support for solutions (cross selling) and service.
7. Building up deep expertise in relevant product lines.
8. Managing and interpreting customer requirements and meeting sales targets.
9. Meeting customers, handling queries and objections (technically and commercially) and fine-tuning offers meeting customer’s requirements.
10. Preparing offers, techno-commercial offers. Coordinating with the concerned verticals /business units in the headquarters.
11. Developing new markets and exploring new possibilities at existing customers.
Your Profile / Qualifications
12. Master, Bachelor degree (technical/commercial) or experienced work level.
13. Minimal 3 years transactional sales experience in capital goods; knowledge of GEA products and/or local brewery, dairy and edible oil industry is an advantage.
14. Excellent sales and negotiation skills - proven commercial skills.
15. Good relationship and people management skills.
16. Developed business sense and basic analytical skills.
17. Strong planning and organizational skills with result focus.
18. Fluent knowledge (both written and spoken) of Dutch, French and English.
19. Goal-oriented and team player.
