Director of Sales & Marketing
to join the team of our client, a MICE hotel with very large capacities. We are seeking an exceptional individual with strong expertise in MICE and transient business management. As the Director of Sales & Marketing, you will be at the helm of a dynamic team, driving the hotel's revenue and brand presence to new heights. Your responsibilities will include: Leadership and Team Development:
Provide expert guidance and leadership to the hotel's sales and marketing team, fostering their growth and ensuring their success. Strategic Collaboration:
Collaborate closely with the General Manager to formulate comprehensive sales strategies across various market segments, with the ultimate goal of optimizing revenue streams for the hotel. Maximizing Occupancy and Opportunities:
Spearhead efforts to achieve maximum occupancy rates for rooms, conferences, and banquets, thereby unlocking the full potential of the hotel's business opportunities. Business Relations and Sales Targets:
Cultivate and expand a network of profitable business relationships with corporate clients, airlines, tourist offices, and travel agencies, among others. Set and achieve ambitious sales targets. Market Analysis and Competition Monitoring:
Stay vigilant in monitoring market trends and assessing competitors to proactively adapt sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge. Key Account Management:
Take charge of managing key accounts and overseeing your team's management of accounts, ensuring top-notch client relations. Elevated Sales Activities:
Drive a culture of sales excellence by orchestrating and maximizing sales activities. Requirements
Bachelor or Master in Hospitality Management or another relevant hospitality study. Demonstrate a minimum of 4 to 5 years of progressive experience within the Sales Department of a similar upscale hotel, with at least 2 years in a management or supervisory capacity. Proficiency in English and French is essential. Knowledge of Dutch is a significant advantage. Exceptional communication skills to foster strong internal and external relationships. Display numerical insight to comprehend and analyze key sales metrics. Possess a valid driving license. Exhibit effective prioritization skills to manage diverse responsibilities. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Opera. Showcase a results-driven mindset with a track record of achieving and surpassing targets. Benefits
