About the role
You will enable best-in-class inventory management across the Northern Europe business unit to optimize our cashflow and service, keeping sustainability top of mind with a “zero waste” approach.
Key responsibilities
1. Drive operational inventory management together with the market QSC teams.
2. Accountable for robust processes to efficiently manage our inventory levels (incl. stock reconciliation) to achieve OTIF targets, meet inventory value targets, and improve cashflow.
3. Run monthly inventory reports (Provisions, inventory on hand, inventory projection, and waterfall charts) on behalf of the BU and actively participate in regional inventory calls to represent Northern Europe.
4. Prepare and present status and key insights on Inventory Actuals, Projection, and Provisions in monthly NE S&OP meetings.
5. Run yearly stock modeling exercises together with the hub- and QSC teams and ensure seasonal- or promotional dynamic safety stock templates are implemented well in advance to manage the seasonal/promotional peaks and troughs. Monitor these buffers and report any risks or opportunities through the monthly CCC process.
6. Accountable to drive efficient processes with the target to decrease SLOB inventory for the BU in cooperation with the hub and in-market QSC teams.
7. Analyze key drivers for high stock inventory, set strategy, and collaborate with key stakeholders to decrease where possible.
8. Lead inventory management meetings with QSC teams to leverage best practices and ensure adherence, tracking, root cause analysis, and actions in markets.
9. Continuous improvement focus with digitalization as a priority.
Qualifications and skills
Essential
1. Experience in Supply Chain Operations management (Site/W&D/Planning/CS), ideally more than 6 years.
2. SAP and APO systems knowledge is required.
3. Strong analytical skills.
4. Advanced Excel and Power BI skills required.
5. Strong continuous improvement mindset and solution orientation.
6. Excellent communication, collaboration, and influencing skills.
7. Ability to work autonomously and across boundaries.
8. Ability to navigate from the big picture down into details.
9. Fluent in English.
Preferred
1. Great commercial understanding and financial acumen.
2. Stakeholder management and change management experience.
3. The ability to keep a holistic approach when communicating with key stakeholders.
4. A strong positive mindset and a can-do spirit.
