The mechanical Design Engineer will be part of the fast growing EV development team that is responsible for the
development of electric propulsion systems & powertrains. He/she will play a critical role in the design of these products.
Job description:
To develop geartrain components of electric propulsion systems in support of functional requirements
ie. Durability, Efficiency, Weight, Cost and NVH behavior.
Responsibilities:
Development and Design of Geartrain components: Gears, Shafts, Bearings, Differential, etc.
Perform analytical design analysis and verification applying state-of-the-art simulation tools
Lead the team of design, purchasing and process development for the commodity
Design of Geartrain components in support of functional requirements ie. Durability, Efficiency, Weight, Cost, NVH
Profile / Requirements :
Basic Qualifications:
MSc or PhD in mechanical engineering
Strong in analysis, mechanics, dynamics, NVH and durability simulation.
Wide knowledge on mechanical solutions to create high loaded components in torque transfer path
CAE base knowledge
Experience or affinity with Automotive engineering
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Strong expertise in analysis and design of geartrain components as part of high loaded torque transfer path
Profound experience in Gears, Shafts, bearing & gear design and corresponding manufacturing techniques
Experience with both analytical and numerical (FEA) simulation techniques/models (MASTA)
Experience with CAE methods for stress analysis and lifetime prediction
Teamplayer, able to work in a multidisciplinary, international and dynamic environment
CAD base knowledge (CREO)
