DECOM Project Manager Nuclear Powerplants

Due to a significant increase in our activities, we are currently looking for a Project Manager Nuclear for a permanent position at the Tihange nuclear power plant. The main workplace is at the Tihange site, interspersed with travel to our headquarters in Brussels and with 1 or 2 days per week working from home if required.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT
Within the Tractebel Business Area Global Nuclear, you will join the department responsible for the Tractebel projects we carry out on behalf of Electrabel. This department is responsible for all projects related to decommissioning projects. These projects can cover pre-feasibility studies through to the final commissioning of the installations, including feasibility, design, procurement and realization activities on site.
Within this department, you are responsible for the projects assigned to you (studies and/or realizations), in each case relating to nuclear power plants in Belgium. You report to the Group Manager Projects.
YOUR JOB
As Project Manager Nuclear, you will manage and monitor the design and/or implementation of our nuclear decommissioning projects. You prepare and consolidate the design and investment budgets for the project as a whole. You determine the global time schedule, you check the services provided for the project and you monitor progress in terms of meeting the delivery deadlines as well as the expected profitability.
1. You take care of the internal contacts with our Métiers (the Technical Competence Centers) and the support departments (legal, finance, IT, risk management, communication, etc.);
2. After consultation with Tractebel's experts, you define the tasks and authorize your project team (which you functionally manage) to carry them out;
3. You coordinate the actions for interfaces between disciplines and ensure the adequate integration of the various specializations in the project;
4. You monitor the project in order to deliver the agreed scope within contractual deadline and budget;
5. You organize meetings with the customer and support the customer, as a partner, in delivering the Tractebel added value to the project;
6. You take care of the technical and commercial contacts with the customers and partners and outline commercial actions where necessary.
As an ambassador of Tractebel (ENGIE), you convey the image and values of Tractebel and the ENGIE Group (Ethics, QHSE,...) in all your contacts, both within the ENGIE Group and with other external stakeholders.

YOUR PROFILE
Minimum requirements:
11. A Master's degree in Engineering;
12. Language knowledge: French and English;
13. Knowledge in project management regarding follow-up budget, planning and risks;
14. You have 5 years professional experience as a project leader or assistant project leader, and you have knowledge of Engineering processes (successive phases, contractual approaches, ...);
15. Knowledge of Belgian nuclear power plants / nuclear sector is a strong asset;
16. BA4, VCA and Habilitation to access nuclear sites is required.
