Job Summary: Pernod Ricard Benelux is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist & HR Controller to join our HR team in Brussels. This dual-role position involves managing and executing payroll processes in collaboration with our external payroll partner, SD Worx, as well as preparing and tracking budgets and working on monthly financial closings. Fluency in Dutch, and English is required, French is a strong plus, along with a strong understanding of payroll regulations and financial practices in the region.

Key Responsibilities:
Payroll Processing:
* Collaborate with SD Worx to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for all employees in the Benelux region.
* Ensure compliance with local payroll laws and regulations.
* Handle payroll-related inquiries, provide support and guidance to employees and resolve issues promptly in collaboration with SD Worx.
* Maintain and update employee payroll records. Keep payroll records and employee information secure and well-organized.
* Quickly address and resolve payroll-related questions or issues from employees, ensuring reports are accurate and comply with tax and labor laws.
* Contact EY regarding all expats
* Compliance and Reporting:
* Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements related to payroll.
* Prepare and submit necessary payroll tax filings and reports.
* Assist with internal and external audits related to payroll.
* HR Controlling:
* Execute month-end financial closing activities related to HR reporting, including the preparation of variance analyses between Actuals and Forecasts.
* Assist in creating quarterly rolling forecasts in alignment with Pernod Ricard Group’s financial planning, in collaboration with the head of HR, local HR Business Partner, and Finance team.
* Ensure data consistency and quality across various systems, including Workday and Adaptive
* Handle ad-hoc reporting requests efficiently.
* Optimize and further develop HR controlling processes and tools.
* Support the local implementation of group-wide projects.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
* At least 3 years of experience in payroll administration and HR controlling.
* Fluency in Dutch, and English is required, French is a strong plus.
* Strong knowledge of payroll laws and regulations in Belgium or the Netherlands is a must.
* Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with multinational payroll processing.
* Certification in payroll administration.
* Experience in financial analysis and budgeting.
* Strong knowledge of payroll laws and regulations in the Benelux region is a strong asset
Working Conditions:
* Full-time position.
* Office environment based in Brussels, with occasional travel within the Benelux region.
