We are looking for a highly motivated Performance Engineer (gn). The position is available immediately at our headquarters in Hasselt, Belgium. The position is available on a full-time basis.
As a Performance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and scalability of our software systems and applications. You will work closely with our development and operations teams to identify performance bottlenecks, design and execute performance tests, and implement solutions to enhance system efficiency and reliability.

Your Role
* Performance Testing: Plan, design, and execute performance tests to evaluate the scalability, responsiveness, and stability of our software products
* Monitoring and Analysis: Implement performance monitoring and profiling tools to identify and analyze system performance issues. Provide insights and recommendations to address identified bottlenecks
* Performance Tuning: Collaborate with developers and system administrators to optimize system performance by fine-tuning application code, configurations, and infrastructure
* Scalability: Work on scaling strategies for applications to handle increased loads and ensure high availability
* Benchmarks and Metrics: Develop and maintain performance benchmarks and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and report on system performance
* Documentation: Document test plans, test cases, and test results. Create and maintain performance engineering best practices and guidelines
* Problem Solving: Investigate and troubleshoot performance-related issues, providing recommendations and solutions for improvements
Your Skills
* Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, Commerce, or a related field is a mandatory requirement
* A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in performance engineering is essential
* Previous experience within a SaaS software company is highly desirable
* Familiarity with Industrial Automation software or high-tech business applications is a valuable asset
* Demonstrated history of consistently achieving and surpassing performance targets
* Experience in utilizing performance monitoring tools is a plus
* Possesses an outgoing personality and exceptional communication skills
* Proven ability to establish professional rapport, engage prospects in meaningful conversations about their challenges, and address initial inquiries and objections with confidence and professionalism
* Capable of effectively communicating with company executives responsible for making business decisions
* Skilled in navigating large organizations to identify decision-makers and stakeholders
* Strong command of grammar and excellent written and verbal communication abilities
* Exceptional organizational skills
* Quick learner who can rapidly grasp processes, systems, industries, products, and company-specific information
* Proficiency in using MS Office and web meeting tools
