Were looking for a General Manager to join our team in Wingene, Belgium. This exciting opportunity is perfect for a leader with strategic vision, commercial expertise, and a passion for operational excellence. You will oversee our Value Added production facility, drive local market expansion, and chion sustainability initiatives while ensuring profitability and team success. Responsibilities include: Own and manage the full P&L for the Belgium business unit, ensuring profitability and alignment with organisational goals. Develop and execute a market strategy tailored to Value Added products, focusing on local market needs. Drive revenue growth through business development, strengthening client relationships, and enhancing market share. Oversee all aspects of the Value Added production facility, ensuring efficiency, quality, and cost effectiveness. Lead and mentor a high performing team, fostering a collaborative and inclusive culture. Chion sustainability initiatives within the production facility, aligning with the companys environmental goals. Collaborate with European leadership and cross functional teams to refine strategies and align processes. Leverage market insights and data analytics to optimise operations and inform decision making. Requirements: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Proven leadership experience in commercial roles, including P&L ownership. Extensive experience managing Value Added or similar product categories, focusing on production. Strong understanding of the fresh produce or food industry, particularly within the European market. Demonstrated ability to implement successful market strategies and build strong client relationships. Fluent in English and Dutch or Flemish. Masters degree in Business Administration (MBA) or related field (preferred). Experience in leading production facilities or operational teams.
