Location: Tubize, Belgium

Thales Belgium SA, Belgium competence center of Thales, is a company located on 2 sites, one in Tubize (near Brussels) and the other one in Herstal (near Liège). Thales Belgium, which employs more than 280 collaborators, is specialized in the design, development and supply of critical information systems for customers in the sectors of Defense, Security (including Cyber) and Aerospace.
Your mission as Mechanical Engineer
* Design, develop, and modify mechanical components and assemblies using CREO PTC.
* Manage and maintain technical data, documentation, and configurations in Windchill.
* Ensure project compliance with industry standards, specifications, and company guidelines.
* Support product lifecycle processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Design and develop electrical harnesses (cabling, routing and electrical integration).
* Create, modify, and validate 3D models and detailed technical drawings for manufacturing.
* Apply best practices in CAD modeling, GD&T, and drawing standards.
* Collaborate cross-functionally with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure project feasibility.
* Manage design revisions, BOMs (Bill of Materials).
* Provide technical support and documentation throughout the product development cycle.
We are looking forward to
* Fluent in French and English (written and spoken).
* Proven experience with CREO PTC (3D modeling, drawing creation, and assembly management).
* Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
* Experience in the aerospace, railway, or military industry is a plus.
* Knowledge of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) tools for mechanical validation is an asset.
* Understanding of manufacturing processes (CNC machining, injection molding, sheet metal, etc.) is a plus.
* Experience with Windchill is a plus.
