ROLE
As a Regional Account Manager, you are responsible for all aspects of product sales in a given region. This includes maintaining existing relationships with local accounts in your area, as well as seeking out new opportunities for additional sales.
You must continually update your knowledge of the company’s products and develop presentations for prospects. Building a strong relationship with new clients is key to sales success.
The Regional Account Manager is responsible for assigned account targets and sales quotas.
You work in close collaboration with the local Business Account Managers, the National Account Manager, and report directly to the National Sales Manager of the B2B team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Regional Account Manager is responsible for 3 main result areas:
1. Development of your business & local network
- Contributing to the sales growth of your region via customer acquisition, customer retention, and generating a profitable turnover.
- Build an appropriate business plan, analyze growth opportunities within your designated region, and set up a promotional calendar and go-to-market plan for your region.
- As a Regional Account Manager, you’ll be on the road intensively to hunt for new sales and present the Kinepolis B2B product portfolio.
2. Financial & administrative
- Accountable for all steps in the Sales Process and demonstrates the appropriate rigor for funnel management from lead to order using the CRM program.
- Achieves assigned sales targets through creating, selling, executing, and communicating annual account business plans/sales plans.
- Responsible for delivering and forecasting sales objectives set forth by the National Sales Manager through Daily Management.
3. Partnership & strategic communication
- Partners with local Business Account Managers to prioritize, realize, develop, and close opportunities.
- Partners with the national coordinator to develop a go-to-market strategy and ensure smooth internal follow-up with all stakeholders.
- As a Regional Account Manager, you possess excellent communication, public speaking, and presentation skills.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
→ Bachelor’s degree required (Sales & Marketing or similar)
→ 2+ years of experience in B2B sales
→ You speak and write fluently in Dutch/French and have a good knowledge of English
→ Target-driven with a ‘can do’ attitude
→ Flexibility to work shifts to meet customer needs
