Position
:
• You Support the (annual, quarterly,.) project planning and prioritization process for Capex projects. You proactively manage the interactions with the project leaders for the dedicated projects, to ensure the early involvement of procurement. You participate in the project reviews and rpresent procurement in these multi-functional team meetings. You work out the strategic souring plan for the dedicated categories/projects and review this in line with the priorities of the company and/or the internal customers. You identify potential cost savings, supplier consolidation and bundling opportunities in assigned categories. You communicate and report on the sourcing plan in line with the targets defined. You actively support and deliver input for the sanctioning process & Capex Board.
• You will research the market for alternative suppliers who can add value to our processes and production.
• You screen new suppliers and subcontractors and ensure that they comply with all legal and administrative modalities.
• You execute and manage the RFI/RFQ process. You take the lead on the bid comparison and make sure the decisions, needs and KPI’s are well documented. You work closely together with the internal customers on the selection and awarding of the suppliers, in accordance with the Vynova procedure. You maintain a preferred supplier list as part of the procurement strategy. You negotiate Terms and conditions ensuring compliance with Vynova’s T&C’s. You negotiate contracts, agreements and SLA’s in line with the needs.
• You support the internal customers during CAPEX projects on all supplier related matters (change management, complaints, escalations,…) You coordinate contract milestones, deliverables (e.g. FAT's and acceptance events).
• Next to the Capex Projects, you will manage some spend categories, for which you will pro-actively work out the procurement strategy, preferred supplier base and related supply agreements.
• You manage supply chain risk. You manage the supply base and manage critical supplier performance. You perform expediting activities and visits to ensure adherence to schedule and milestone activities, where appropriate. You work closely together with the Procurement Team to ensure a smooth processing and follow-up of orders.
• You evaluate and monitor contract performance following contract placement to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and to determine need for changes. You support the annual vendor and contractor evaluation process.
• You keep all documentation of processes, change requirements and projects within the area of procurement up-to-date. You take responsibility for compliance with
guidelines and rules concerning SHE and ISO (ISO, ISO, ISO, …).
• You report to the Indirect Procurement Manager Tess/Beek (with a functional reporting line the Group Procurement Manager Indirect & Raw Materials).
Profile
• You have a Master’s degree and have at least five years’ experience in technical / capex buying & procurement;
• You have relevant experience with the procurement activities related to Capex & technical procurement, complex project management and supplier management;
• You have experience with the strategic sourcing process and contracting (EP, EPC, EPCM, SLA’s, etc.);
• You are able to work in multi-functional teams and to manage stakeholders;
• You have strong planning and organizational abilities;
• You develop a strong business understanding;
• You have strong influencing and negotiation skills;
• You work fluently with MS Office and SAP;
• A very good knowledge of Dutch, French and English is necessary;
• You are willing to work from our site in Tessenderlo and travel to our Mazingarbe site on a regular basis (15 to 20% travel).
