We are looking for a Junior Sales Support to reinforce our Key Account Management team. This role is ideal for an ambitious individual eager to grow within an international sales environment, starting with an office-based support role and evolving into an active sales consultant position with both office and field responsibilities. Your tasks and responsibilities
As a Junior Sales Support, you will be instrumental in supporting our Key Account Managers in managing EU and global accounts. Main tasks will include:
Sales & Customer Support
* Assist in preparing sales proposals, presentations, and tenders for large international clients
* Handle customer inquiries and follow-ups, ensuring smooth communication with key stakeholders
* Maintain and update CRM systems with customer data and sales pipeline information
Project Coordination & Back-Office Sales Support
* Support the execution of sales projects and initiatives in close collaboration with the Key Account Managers
* Assist in the administration of contracts, pricing, and agreements with global accounts
* Coordinate internal processes between sales, operations, and marketing teams to ensure project success
Market & Business Development
* Research and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs
* Identify new sales opportunities within existing and potential accounts
* Participate in customer meetings, trade fairs, and industry events (initially remote, later on-site)
Your growth path from Sales Support to Sales Consultant
* Phase 1 (Office-Based, Support Focus): You will start as a back-office sales support, gaining expertise in customer engagement, sales processes, and project coordination
* Phase 2 (Hybrid Sales Consultant Role): Over time, you will evolve into a more active sales function, with 50% office-based work and 50% field-based sales activities
* Phase 3 (Customer-Facing Sales Consultant): You will develop into a fully independent sales consultant, handling customer relationships, negotiations, and business development on a global scale.
Qualifications and qualities
Education & Experience
* Bachelor or Master degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or Logistics (or equivalent by experience)
* Previous experience in a sales support, inside sales, or customer service role is a plus but not required.
Skills & Competences
* Strong organizational and communication skills, with a proactive mindsetExcellent customer service attitude and willingness to learn
* Familiarity with CRM software, Microsoft Office, and sales tools is an advantage
Language Skills
* Dutch (NL), English (E) are required
* French (F) and German (D) are a strong plus for working with international customers
