We are looking for a Payroll, Compensation & Benefits Analyst to join a forward-thinking, international organization that plays a key role in the European energy and climate transition. Based in Brussels, this association brings together experts from across Europe and works closely with policymakers, regulators, and industry partners.

Your Role
You will join the People, Talent & Culture team (10 colleagues) and report to the Compensation & Benefits Manager. You’ll work from the Brussels office with flexibility to work remotely several days a week.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Supporting monthly payroll preparation and acting as a backup when needed
* Managing onboarding/offboarding processes and employment contracts
* Handling internship agreements, reimbursements, and extensions
* Preparing documentation for internal meetings (staff, board, resource committee, etc.)
* Managing internal communication via email, intranet, and digital tools
* Supporting administrative HR tasks such as holidays, absences, and mobility budgets
* Tracking HR-related invoices and monitoring budgets
* Collaborating on audits, quality checks, and HR data accuracy
* Liaising with external providers and supporting RFP/procurement processes
* Contributing to internal HR projects and process improvement initiatives
* Ensuring compliance with employment laws and internal HR policies
Your Profile
* A Bachelor’s degree in HR, Finance, Economics, Tax, or equivalent
* 1–2 years of experience in payroll and HR administration
* Strong numerical and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail
* Proficiency in Excel (formulas, pivot tables), PowerPoint, and Word
* Good knowledge or interest in employment law, tax, and social security
* Fluency in English plus French or Dutch (spoken and written)
* Service-minded, trustworthy, and able to maintain confidentiality
* A proactive team player who can also work independently under deadlines
