Job Summary
As a product specialist, you are part of the Sales Organisation. Your main responsibility is to manage/support all activities related to sales & marketing for the full TIS product group in the CIS region by interacting with several distributors in 11 countries. In addition, you interact with healthcare professionals by being present during Cathlab procedures to make sure you understand the needs of the end users.
Since Terumo Europe has no legal entity in the region, we would require the final candidate to operate as an independent contractor.
Job Responsibilities
1.Product knowledge and training internal and external customers
Ensure a detailed and up to date product knowledge.
Define personal training needs and consequently attend product trainings and get the yearly recertification.
Promote features and benefits of all products; implement the defined appropriate product and technical support
Identify, give and set-up training programmes for external and internal customers (distributors and end-users)
2.Achievement sales targets
Support all sales activities for his/her product group (including actively supporting the business partners in realising the agreed business objectives)
Assists the Line Manager in analysing all problems, related to his/her product group, propose and plan corrective actions in order to reach the objectives and targets
Assist sales manager to focus on specific products of the business and the sales development.
Assist and follow-up on scientific studies
Liaise with BU/Inventory Planning/Customer Service to manage back-order situation within his/her product group
Give the necessary support for a timely and correct submission of the necessary documents related to tenders
3.Expand sales portfolio
Implement defined strategies and develop tactics to improve the sales and profitability of his/her product group together with the Line manager.
Facilitates implementation of business plans and marketing strategies for the area to increase market penetration or market share where appropriate.
Maintain excellent relation with external official parties, authorities and organisations
Together with Product Managers launch new products.
Gathers and shares info with Line Manager and Market Development Manager concerning market and product developments (including but not limited to market data like market sizes, market tendencies, competitor’s products, activities, pricing policies, and business organisation).
Is responsible for the product forecasting for the region.
Ensures tender support and preparation of technical files for tenders and reimbursement.
4.Increase brand preference, presence on the market
Identify and maintain excellent relations with Key Opinion Leaders and ‘rising stars’ from the region and actively use them in further local promotion of the product group.
Works closely with Sales team, Marketing and Clinical Departments to develop strategies for market access and development at the account level and to maximize customer programs.
Participation in congresses
Assures implementation of the clinical programs, registries and studies in the core regions/customer segments/accounts;
Ensures frequent clinical/ product support in cathlabs.
5.General Reporting
Monitor and update the (production) forecast
Maintain and update CRM (distribution lists)
Profile Description
1. You have a Bachelor or Master degree in Medical or Paramedical orientation or Business.
2. You enjoy working in an international environment; you are fluent in English and Russian,(written and spoken) any additional language is a plus;
3. You are recognized as a flexible team player, while being able to work independently, prioritizing you own work and maintaining the confidentiality of information.
4. You demonstrate a positive attitude, are pro-active, have excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills and can work under pressure and within short time constraints
5. You are flexible to travel intensively internationally, up to 70%.
