In this role, you are a key member of the Global Digital Marketing team, taking the sole responsibility to drive growth through paid media channels (Google, Bing, META, LinkedIn, YouTube, ...) and hence have a significant impact on the growth of the business. You will organize the way we work with agencies and inhouse SEM operations and be responsible for the performance of the campaigns and budgets.
Your role and responsibilities
1. End-to-end responsibility of all paid media activities with a main focus on paid search and paid social.
2. Define and roll-out the global paid media strategy to achieve short and long term growth objectives.
3. Managing the paid media budgets, forecasting, planning, optimization and reporting.
4. Lead and manage the external digital agency by providing a clear roadmap, projects, objectives and deliverables.
5. Develop & share best practices and guidelines within the organization.
6. Work closely together with other (digital) marketing colleagues and data experts across the globe.
7. Taking the lead in cross-departmental projects to broaden your horizon.
How to succeed / Your profile
8. Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in paid media management with a strong track record of driving results on a global scale.
9. Technical Skills: Proficiency in platforms such as Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Facebook Business Manager and other programmatic advertising tools. Strong analytical skills and experience with platforms such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar.
10. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field. A master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Blueprint) is a plus.
11. Global Perspective: Experience managing paid media campaigns across multiple regions with an understanding of cultural nuances and market-specific strategies.
12. Analytical Mindset: Strong data analysis skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and translate them into actionable strategies.
13. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely to stakeholders.
14. Project Management: Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and projects simultaneously, while meeting deadlines.
15. Experience with programmatic advertising is a plus.
