Position purpose
You will be responsible for proposing, developing and executing the Marketing Communications strategy aligned and in strong collaboration with M&S Directors and Area Sales managers across the globe. You ensure attractive marketing campaigns for our liquid, soluble & solid crop nutrition products and solutions in line with corporate and BU brand direction. You strongly partner with M&S teams in Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia, Australia and Latin America to challenge and support all efforts globally and locally to improve brand awareness, create demand and drive sales.
Your responsibilities:
1. Support and challenge M&S teams in realizing their yearly marketing plans by developing marketing communication strategies based on a deep understanding of target markets and actively monitor, communicate and act upon changes relevant to customer and competitor behavior.
2. Propose and execute marketing campaigns in a mix of channels to drive demand creation and in the end revenue, including the organization of fairs.
3. Support the M&S teams in developing compelling value propositions adapted to the target groups based on good analysis of persona needs and buying preferences.
4. Propose and develop customer engagement strategies from ideation to implementation and analysis.
5. Identify new marketing strategies to guarantee the most effective offers and platforms and measure all activities to drive qualified leads.
6. Manage and monitor corporate website and social media pages and address customer queries.
7. Create and manage all marketing material in line with branding guidelines.
8. Manage marketing communication budget and work with vendors and agencies to create local MarCom solutions adapted to the needs of local teams and customers.
Qualifications
9. Bachelor degree in Marketing, Marketing Communications, or equivalent
10. 5 years proven work experience as a Marketing Communications Specialist, preferably in an industrial context. Experience in agriculture is a plus.
11. Experience with multichannel marketing communications campaigns.
12. Familiarity with B2B advertising campaigns.
13. Hands-on experience with web content management tools, knowledge of SEO and Google Analytics and proficiency in MS Office.
14. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
15. Good presentation skills.
16. Proficiency in Dutch & English; French and/or Spanish are a plus.
17. Well-organized and structured approach with eye for detail.
18. Thrive under pressure and deal effectively with tight deadlines and high expectations.
19. Good communication and interpersonal skills to engage with different cultures.
20. Some international travel is required.
