Assignments
We are looking for Component Engineers specializing in Electricity, Instrumentation, Mechanics, and Valves to lead the monitoring, maintenance, and reliability improvement of components in the nuclear energy sector.
Your main responsibilities include:
* Monitor the aging and reliability of components using performance indicators (scorecards) and analyze the health status of component sub-families based on CHR process standards.
* Resolve issues identified in aging and reliability monitoring.
* Develop and maintain technical expertise in assigned component families/sub-families.
* Define and update maintenance strategies per equipment family/sub-family, evolving them based on experience feedback and monitoring results.
* Optimize maintenance programs to ensure efficiency and equipment reliability.
* Implement and maintain aging management practices within the reliability team and the technical service, ensuring updates of aging summaries and management programs.
* Manage the lifecycle of preventive maintenance programs and ensure regulatory requirements are reflected in maintenance plans and procedures.
* Ensure compliance with equipment qualification requirements in maintenance plans and procedures, validating recommendation notes.
* Identify and anticipate obsolescence issues, contributing to problem resolution strategies (equivalence analysis, commercial grade dedication, reverse engineering, etc.).
* Analyze root causes of reworks on components and propose corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
* Actively participate in the PSR and LTO of Tihange 3, collaborating with the dedicated team.
The profile
You have a Master’s degree in Industrial or Civil Engineering, specializing in mechanics, electricity, electromechanics, or industrial reliability.
You have at least 2 years of experience in a medium/large industrial environment, with nuclear industry experience being an asset. You have proven skills in component reliability analysis.
You are results-oriented, a team player, and possess strong interpersonal skills. You have an analytical and synthetic mindset, are organized and rigorous, and enjoy deep technical analysis.
You are proactive in seeking coaching when needed and have a strong command of English. Knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
You are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access), and experience with an ERP system (SAP) is an asset.
