Job Description
The TEC (Transport En Commun) is a major player in the mobility sector in Belgium, contributing to economic, social, and sustainable development. The organization is engaged in several key projects, including the design and production of new on-board computers (ODB) for its buses and trams and the System of Assistance to Operations (SAE) that allows different services to access real-time data from these systems.
The TEC is seeking a Senior IT Analyst Developer to join its Embedded Systems Department (DSE) and help improve the SAE functionality. You will be working as part of a team of 30 people, directly contributing to the development of new features for the SAE system.
Key Responsibilities:
* Analyze IT requirements and functionalities to be developed.
* Develop modules for integration into the SAE system (both front-end and back-end).
* Participate in or develop APIs.
* Document the developments made and ensure continuous improvement.
* Work in collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Required Skills:
* Proven experience in front-end and back-end web development.
* Passion for Linux and systems administration.
* Strong knowledge in the following technologies:
o Web Development: PHP, HTML, Symfony, JavaScript, Node.js, View.js.
o Relational Databases and SQL (MySQL, MariaDB).
o Microservices development and real-time data flow analysis.
o Elasticsearch, XML, JSON.
o Linux administration (System, Apache, Docker, Git).
o API development.
o Python.
* Experience with SPARX and HASTUS is a plus.
Soft Skills:
* Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
* Ability to work both independently and in a team.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in French.
* Detail-oriented and methodical approach to work.
Context:
* Full-time position with a duration of 6 months, renewable.
* Hybrid work (2 days per week in-office in Namur).
* Fluent in French is mandatory, with active knowledge of English.
