Job Description:
We are looking for a dynamic and service-oriented half-time Receptionist to join our team. You will be the first point of contact for our clients and play a crucial role in their experience at our establishment.
1. Help guests – you’ll be happy to help if someone needs a toothbrush or directions for example.
2. Look smart – wear your uniform with pride.
3. Act as Manager on Duty:
* Responsible for the hotel and the guests in the absence of the management, ensuring safety and security.
* Dealing and managing the guest’s complaints.
* Being able to solve all kinds of challenges: maintenance, fire alarm, suspicious guests, etc.
1. Registers and room all arrivals according to established procedures.
2. Maintains intimate knowledge of departmental standards and procedures.
3. Performs check in, check out and room change procedures and ensures all data are entered completely into the hotel systems in accordance with reservation.
4. Maintains cashier float and ensures accurate daily report of all money received.
5. Keep abreast of all modifications to accounting policies and procedures.
6. Responsible and attends to guest’s requests of using the service of safety box at all times.
7. Knowledgeable of all special promotion procedures for all different programs (Loyalty Programs).
8. Performs the audit balances and prepares all works for audit.
9. Checks night report, prepares morning report and prepares all necessary forms for guest arrivals.
10. Maintains comprehensive knowledge of standards reservation procedures including correct forms to use and how to interpret availability sources within the reservation systems.
11. Takes personal interest and pride to ensure that the front desk work area is kept clean and in orderly state at all times.
12. Maintain high standards of the hotel with particular regard to the importance of IHG loyalty program members and other VIP’s.
13. Ensure that the security tours are done as per safety procedure.
14. Assist in the Room Service.
15. Comply with Hotel Rules & Company Grooming Standards.
16. Familiarize yourself with emergency and evacuation procedures.
17. May assist with other duties as assigned.
