Founded in 1964, St. John’s International School is a private, non-profit educational institution. We are an IB continuum school committed to excellence in education through inquiry-based, child-centred teaching and learning. We are accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS) and the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools (MSA).
Circa 500 students from 55 countries pursue a challenging academic curriculum that includes an emphasis on development in athletics and the arts, all within the context of the ethos and values that make St. John’s unique.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reporting to the “School Business Manager”, the Administration Coordinator will cooperate with the Leadership Team in day-to-day tasks relating to the coordination of finance and administrative tasks. She/He will contribute to the effective running of the various administrative operational areas of the school and support the administrative and academic teams.
This position will be responsible for the following:
1. Manage and oversee daily administrative tasks to ensure smooth office operations.
2. Handle financial tasks, including invoicing, expense tracking, and reconciliation, support in the budget coordination and budget control.
3. Collaborate with the HR department to support recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.
4. Maintain accurate records of employee attendance, leave, and benefits administration.
5. Assist in payroll processing and address payroll-related inquiries.
6. Cooperate with the academic teams, ensuring that logistical aspects are well-organized.
7. Monitor and replenish office supplies, ensuring a well-stocked and efficient work environment.
8. Act as a liaison between the academic teams and the management to address administrative concerns.
9. Support in the development and implementation of office policies and procedures.
10. Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
11. Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Accounting, or related field
12. 2-3 years’ experience in administrative roles, with a focus on accounting and HR functions
13. An excellent level of oral and written English and French.
14. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
15. Positive outlook on life and great sense of humor
16. Proficiency in MS Office suite and familiar with accounting software.
17. Knowledge of HR processes and practices.
18. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work/Excellent attention to detail
19. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
20. Understanding of confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive information
21. An interest in working in an educational environment.
22. Solution-focused attitude and ability to solve problems.
