As Tax Manager, you will manage all tax matters of the Lotus Bakeries Group globally. This includes responsibility for tax projects, tax planning, tax accounting, tax compliance, and tax controversy. You will report to our CFO.
You will guarantee specialized tax knowledge in the area of (inter)national corporate tax, indirect tax, tax compliance, and transfer pricing at Group Level:
1. You will manage the Group Transfer Pricing: Coordinate the Transfer Pricing documentation on a country-by-country basis; orchestrate local files and master files for an effective Transfer Pricing strategy; optimize and structure Transfer Pricing documentation and associated processes.
2. You will supervise, monitor, and manage complex (inter)national tax projects: Identify, develop, analyze, and compare structures; validate structures against the company’s policies and risk tolerance; monitor and analyze the effective tax rate, the total tax cost, and the cash tax of the Group; ensure adequate contractual framework and documentation; manage the implementation; manage, assist in, and follow up on major direct and indirect tax & TP litigation.
3. You will oversee the tax returns and the tax accounting processes by ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the tax return and accounting procedures.
4. You will oversee all fiscal controls and disputes within the group, maintaining a comprehensive perspective at all times. You will act as the point of contact for all external tax agencies and local tax authorities in the various countries.
5. You will enlarge and continuously improve accurate group-wide, coherent direct and indirect tax and transfer pricing compliance, reporting and policies, documentation, and tools are in place and stay informed about significant impending tax changes to recognize, formulate, and assess potential tax opportunities and risks, as well as to shape the overall tax strategy for the group.
6. You will manage Subsidy Programs and implement them in the Group while monitoring governance.
Minimum Requirements:
* You hold a Master’s degree in Economics or Law with an additional degree in Taxation.
* You have sound experience with Corporate Tax in a Big 4 firm, legal firm, or corporate environment.
* You can deal well with ambiguity and uncertainty in complex environments. You have a great ability to see the bigger picture, gain insight into the processes of tax returns and tax accounting, and are good at setting up structures.
* You have excellent communication and presentation skills.
* You can engage and challenge diverse (senior/complex) stakeholders, across departments, hierarchy levels, geographical zones, and backgrounds.
* You are analytical, hands-on, initiative-taking, result-driven.
* You are a quick learner with a strong flex, able to absorb fast and think solutions-oriented.
* You are fluent in Dutch and English. French is a plus.
