International Mobility Advisor
The working environment
Our corporate Human Resources Department guides and manages the overall provision of Human Resources services, products, policies and programs to the global Tractebel organization.
Your function
Reporting to the International Mobility Manager, you are part of a team in charge of compliance, governance and operations for all matters relating to international assignments and cross-border work situations for Tractebel worldwide.
This implies that:
1. You are in constant communication with the assignee and work closely together with the Engie group internal expatriation cell to ensure the good execution of the international assignments offering support, advice and solutions whenever necessary for immigration, relocation, move, payroll and tax matters;
2. You demonstrate due diligence and ensure that the international assignment complies with local and international social, legal and tax regulations as well as Tractebel’s own processes
3. You analyze upfront the contractual set-up possibilities for new international assignments (advisory) with the relevant stakeholders
4. You instruct, prepare and review cost calculations for international missions and liaise with business managers and/or sales teams for transposition into commercial bids
5. You instruct and review the expat payroll implementation in the home and host country and are the first point of contact for the payroll agency
6. You prepare regular reporting related to mobility management
7. You coordinate with external consultants regarding immigration formalities for new hires in Belgium and provide advice and training to the recruiting teams in these matters
8. You partner with internal stakeholders, including HR business partners, finance, legal, and tax teams, to address complex mobility challenges and deliver effective solutions.
9. You will work closely together with external service providers to deliver high-quality and cost-effective solutions
Your profile
10. You have a master’s degree and minimum 5 years of professional experience in international mobility management within a large multinational organization
11. You have good knowledge of all aspects of international taxation, tax equalization and expat (shadow) payroll
12. You are customer oriented and proactive: you accompany all stakeholders but must be able to arbitrate and be strict when needed
13. You have an excellent command of office tools (MS Office 365) and you have in particular advanced knowledge of Excel (Pivot tables)
14. You have excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, analyse trends, and identify anomalies.
15. You are a problem solver and are able to think out of the box to find practical solutions in alignment with company policies
16. You are able to work accurately in a fast paced matrix environment and deal with constant change.
17. You are dynamic, committed, well-organized and communicative
18. You are fluent in English and French or Dutch
