JOB OUTLINE: Based: Geel (Belgium) Reports to: Business Intelligence and Process Manager Business Process Analyst We are looking for a talented and experienced Business Process Analyst to play a key role in driving process optimization initiatives across our organization. As a Business Process Analyst, you will identify, analyze, and optimize end-to-end business processes to enhance efficiency, mitigate risks, and ensure alignment with strategic objectives. This role is part of the global IT department with primary focus on sales and distribution. Identify, evaluate, and analyze end-to-end business processes across departments and functions, consulting key stakeholders, process owners, and support services (Finance, IT, etc.). Define improvement paths and provide recommendations to enhance process efficiency, reduce costs, and optimize resource allocation. Model and simulate new processes for implementation while identifying risks and inefficiencies in existing workflows. Derive business rules, policies, and procedures based on analysis and simulations. Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and control improvements where applicable. Facilitate change management efforts by actively supporting local business management, project teams, and steering committees. Stay engaged throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring alignment between process stakeholders and IT management for common understanding of requirements. Identify the impact of process changes on the organization and escalate side effects to senior management where necessary. Support project teams in testing and validating new processes, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT) where applicable. Bachelor's or master's degree in Business Management, Business Process Management, Information Technology, or equivalent experience. Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate both high-level and detailed process views. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Proven experience in process modeling, simulation, and optimization tools and methodologies. Proficiency in BPMN, Lean Six Sigma (LSS), and familiarity with process automation technologies (e.G., workflow automation, RPA, BPM). Ability to translate business requirements into IT change requirements. Experience in conducting stakeholder interviews, facilitating design sessions, and managing process improvement initiatives. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Dutch.
