Key accountabilities
Within this role, your main areas of work will be:
1. You are an integral part of the Finance Center of Excellence Belgium, which encompasses the Accounting Center and Group Costing Center.
2. As one of your main responsibilities, you will be ensuring optimization of business processes with regards to efficiency and effectiveness and strive for cross-functional alignment to achieve End-To-End Process Harmonization.
3. Your responsibility is to support the correct and timely reporting of all internal and external obligations, striving for excellence in meeting reporting requirements and you will further develop the global month-end and year-end closing template.
4. With your analytical skills & ability to bring complex processes back to their essence, your will directly support the forecasting & budget process.
5. You will work closely together with all stakeholders involved to actively participate in the optimization of internal and inter-departmental processes and support process improvement wherever possible.
6. You engage in effective communication and collaboration with colleagues from the Accounting team and key stakeholders in various departments, fostering a cohesive working environment.
Who are we looking for ?
7. You preferably hold a bachelor's degree in Accountancy-ICT and bring 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in a Business Analyst or Controlling function
8. You possess strong communication skills, flexibility, an analytical mindset and, as a practical problem-solver, actively seek solutions to day-to-day challenges, serving as a vital bridge between ICT and Business.
9. Your experience in process optimization and digitalization adds significant value to your skill set. Possible types of relevance experience can include: BPM Finance, Digital transformation in accounting, etc.
10. You excel in MS Office, particularly Power BI and Power Pivot, showcasing your expertise in these tools. Familiarity with SAP is advantageous.
11. Your commitment to teamwork, coupled with a strong sense of responsibility, defines your professional approach.
12. You demonstrate fluency in Dutch, French and English, showcasing effective multilingual communication skills.
