The division is responsible for some of the Group’s key innovations while sustaining business operations and developing custodian and funds administration services.As a Subject Matter Expert (SME), you will be responsible for providing expertise and guidance on mainstream fund administration (FA) activities and related issues within the Fund Operations department. This function plays a critical role in supporting the development and implementation of regulatory topics, strategic projects as well as providing exceptional service to internal teams.
Your role
* Implement and manage the reconciliation of not-in-bank assets with all counterparties.
* Design a control framework to enable efficient and automated ad hoc reviews of fee accruals, invoice payments and not-in-bank asset reconciliation against KPIs and ;
* Manage FA Risk & Compliance duties (policies, procedures, working instructions, regulatory requirements, RCSA matrix, ISAE controls, etc.) with both FA and relevant key stakeholders.
* Take ownership for FA of the Technical Committee, business implementation pipeline with all Business Lines.
* Provide expertise and recommendations on developments related to FA mainstream activities (products, tools, operating model, project management, etc.).
* Act as a key FA stakeholder for the implementation or review of the SLA and Op Memo with clients and business lines.
* Act as a trusted advisor providing guidance, insights and recommendations based on systems expertise and FA mainstream knowledge in the context of new client exceptions or gating for new models and requests.
* Act as key expert on strategic projects (depooling, T+1 settlement, front-to-back operating model, follow the sun, etc.).
Your profileQualifications and experience:
* Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related field.
* Minimum 15 years’ experience and expertise in Fund Accounting topics, including listed and OTC derivatives investments.
Specific knowledge:
* Strong knowledge of Fund Accounting mechanisms.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex issues and issue strategic recommendations.
* Ability to keep abreast of technological developments related to Fund Administration.
* Ability to enable quick win-win solutions.
Language skills:
* Fluent in French and English.
* Any other language is an asset.
Personal qualities:
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to interact with internal teams and transversal stakeholders.
* Strong presentation and public speaking skills, enabling you to effectively communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
* Ability to drive/take ownership and readiness to show accountability.
