As a Service Sales Account Manager for East Flanders, you are responsible for the personalized commercial follow-up of your assigned clients. Going the extra mile to consistently deliver added value is second nature to you. You will strengthen our growing after-sales department and translate our marketing strategy into concrete actions. Thanks to your efforts, our clients feel they are always in good hands with everything related to their Caterpillar machines, such as maintenance contracts, fleet management, and rebuilds. In addition, you will also sell Cat equipment. Your mission? To engage existing clients and elevate overall customer satisfaction.
Profile

Key responsibilities
* Strengthening commercial relationships with your clients through visits and proactive outreach to offer targeted commercial proposals.
* Through this close relationship, you enhance customer satisfaction and brand loyalty.
* Conducting preliminary research on clients’ application areas and industries to deliver tailored commercial proposals. You identify commercial opportunities (sales, cross- and upselling) within your client base.
* Following up on Salesforce leads.
* Ensuring that the technical and commercial follow-up of operational queries, remarks, and disputes from assigned clients are properly referred (e.g., to Site Managers for invoicing issues) and coordinating smooth problem resolution.
* Keeping the client’s machinery park and contact information up-to-date in Salesforce.
Requirements
* A bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in a technical-commercial field.
* Fluent in Dutch and English, with a good command of French.
* Interest in engines and a technical background.
* A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar commercial role, focusing on technical sales.
* Excellent sales, communication, and negotiation skills.
* Strong organizational and time management abilities.
* Ability to maintain an overview and stay calm in challenging situations.
* Always communicate professionally, even in difficult circumstances.
* A hands-on mentality.
Additionally, you possess the following skills:
* Minimum of 5 years of experience as a technician (e.g., in earth-moving equipment, agricultural machinery, or trucks).
* Excellent command of Dutch and good knowledge of English.
* Technical knowledge of earth-moving machinery.
* Customer focus and an understanding of their needs.
* Structured work style and prioritization skills.
* Commercial mindset, a clear overview, and quick prioritization ability.
* Proficiency with Office 365 tools (Excel, Word, PPT), and experience with Salesforce is a plus.
