TVH is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Release Manager to join our IT Service Management (ITSM) team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background with a hands-on approach to navigating complex environments and ensuring seamless delivery. As a Release Manager, you will be responsible for end-to-end release management across multiple teams, driving the success of new scope delivery in a high-impact role.
Your role and responsibilities
As the Release Manager, you will manage the release process end-to-end, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timelines.
This will involve:
1. Communicate release details and schedules to the Business as required.
2. Forward plan the release windows and build the IT Release Calendar by working closely with different users and maintaining a Release Calendar.
3. Carrying out post-implementation reviews (PIR).
4. Attending regular Change Management Boards whenever required and conducting Change Assurance Board meetings internally to decide the Go-No-Go of changes.
5. Managing escalations to support the Release process.
6. Identify and mitigate risks that can affect release scope, quality, and schedule.
7. Manage dependencies and coordinate releases across the different domains and various stakeholders.
8. Ensuring Release work conforms to quality standards.
9. Carrying out quality checks and risk assessments on the individual components of a release like release control closures, change Implementation, and verification task closures.
10. Plan the release windows and cycles on the organization level, across multiple business units.
11. Manage risks and resolve issues that affect release scope, schedule, and quality.
12. Conduct Release Readiness reviews, Milestone Reviews, and Business Go/No-Go reviews.
13. Monitor and report progress along the way.
14. Analyze and optimize release processes, aligning them with evolving business and technology needs.
15. Maintain a release repository and manage key information such as build and release procedures, dependencies, and notification lists.
16. Work with development to automate builds, quality assurance, and software deployments, and to identify and resolve build or deployment problems.
17. Ensure that appropriate quality steps and approvals are adhered to before releases.
18. Generate and publish release builds and documentation.
How to succeed / Your profile
We are looking for someone who has proven Release Management Expertise. Hands-on experience in release management for technology-driven projects, with a track record of managing complex releases effectively.

19. Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Information Systems or Computer Science
20. At least five years of experience in a Release Manager role or a similar position.
21. Strategic thinking and the ability to understand and navigate complex environments, strategies, and release processes.
22. Strong interpersonal skills to foster collaboration, and ensure clear communication with diverse stakeholders with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
23. Ability to develop and maintain process documentation, reports, and presentations

26. Strong organizational, time management, and follow-up capabilities.
27. Demonstrated flexibility, initiative, and a proven ability to deliver timely and high-quality results.

30. Ability to work onsite in the Waregem Office at least three times per week.
31. Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally on occasion.
