As a Supply Chain System Specialist, you support all of the systems and processes needs/inquires of specific user groups within JDE. You’ll take the lead in various Supply Chain system related projects. You are the go to person for questions or issues in the Quote to Cash processes and you provide solutions to increase efficiencies in our way of working. You're based in in our office in Brussels and report to the Customer Service Manager Benelux.
Your main responsibilities will be:
1. You develop a complete understanding of the business processes and the end-users’ business needs. You translate these needs into functional system specifications/solutions to effectively support the business processes.
2. You support end users (mainly your supply chain, customer service, logistics colleagues) on a daily basis to ensure proactive problem detection and solving to cater for business continuity
3. You are the liaison between the end users and the IT operational teams.
4. You are responsible for EDI tracking & monitoring of performance, both from a system point of view and from a content point of view. You work together both with internal and external stakeholders.
5. You actively make suggestions on possible improvements to realize higher efficiencies and improve working methods in all processes and systems within Supply Chain and Sales & Operations Planning
6. You lead & drive various supply chain projects, mainly for the Belgian supply chain team and business units, but occasionally internationally. This includes managing the overall execution and on time delivery of a project, but also milestone and resource planning. Next to that, you also participate in business & IT projects to guarantee system & business process continuity.
7. You write Business Process Procedures in order to provide input to the IT development teams and serve as a basis for training material. You ensure proper training towards business partners on new/improved processes and system functionalities.
8. You deliver reports, queries and data to support business intelligence, with a focus on supply chain analytics
Qualifications

For this role we’re looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:
9. You have a bachelor's or master's degree within a relevant field (commercial engineering, IT, economics/business, supply chain, logistics etc.) or you obtained equivalent through experience.
10. You have gained 1-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in supply chain
11. You are IT and system savvy
12. You have strong analytical skills
13. Knowledge of Excel is a must, Access and PowerBI experience are a plus.
14. Experience with ERP packages & EDI (SAP BW/APO/R3) is a plus
15. You have proven project management skills and are able to communicate with multiple stakeholders across different locations / backgrounds.
16. You are a problem-solver that has the drive to dig into the root cause of problems.
17. You are able to keep calm in stressful situations
18. You have the ambition to grow within our organization (within your area of interest)
19. Written and spoken excellence in Dutch, English and French
