Your journey with us Your role: As an experience/service designer, you drive experience design from end-to-end, including discovery, ideation, concept, prototype, test & validation. You will work with product owners, designers, technical analysts and developers to design elegant experiences and will follow-up on development until the final launch on the market. You are passionate about creating disruptive digital services that improve the lives of the target audience by offering them a delightful and frictionless user experience. You are not afraid to roll up your sleeves and to take on serious responsibility when working in the field and beyond. You will be:
1. Performing thorough user research to uncover end-user’s needs and pain points using quantitative and qualitative techniques
2. Ideating on and assess new concepts from a business viability / value and feasibility perspective, supported by the experts in the field
3. Moving from analysis to synthesis and developing personas and user journeys based on user needs and insights from the business
4. Visualizing, articulating and solving complex problems and concepts, and making disciplined decisions based on available information and research evidence
5. Bringing the right people together to assess the technical complexity and feasibility.
Your Responsibilities:
6. Research, identify and articulate user needs.
7. Translate user needs into personas & user journeys and propose design approaches or services to meet these needs
8. Create design concepts and prototypes, and design testing plans for validation
9. Perform user testing with the proposed concepts and prototypes
10. Communicate and present research and design insights to stakeholders
11. Conduct functional analysis and translate the design into clear user stories and documentation as input for development teams
12. Work with developers and technical analysts to recommend solutions and resolve issues.
Let's talk about you Your Profile
13. You have a Master degree in Business Economics, Management, Product design, Marketing, Communications or any other business related Master degree
14. You have relevant experience with conducting user research and have excellent communication and presentation skills
15. You have experience in following areas: user experience, design research, service design, design strategy, functional analysis
16. You have a passion for making things better with an enthusiastic, empathic and positive attitude
17. You master basic design skills with sketching tools such as Balsamiq, Figma
18. You have a desire for creative problem solving, a curious mind and a passionate work ethic
19. You are fluent in German native and in English, knowledge of French and Dutch would be a plus.
