Your Future Job
As the People & Culture Director, you will be a key strategic leader, responsible for shaping and executing our HR vision in alignment with our business goals. You will lead a dynamic HR team (CoE Leads, Global Business Partners, and People & Workplace Managers) and partner with senior executives to drive a people-first agenda that fosters a culture of innovation, inclusivity, and excellence. In this function, you will report directly to the CEO.
Your Key Responsibilities, Together With Your Team:
1. Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement HR strategies that align with our business objectives, enhancing organizational effectiveness and employee engagement in a competitive, high-tech environment.
2. People Leadership: Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization. Demonstrated success in building and leading high-performing teams.
3. Employee Engagement & Culture: Champion a positive and inclusive workplace culture, driving entrepreneurship, innovation, and effective decision-making. Oversee and lead employee engagement initiatives.
4. Compensation & Benefits: Oversee competitive compensation and benefits programs, ensuring market alignment and regulatory compliance. Provide guidance on reward strategies that motivate and retain our talent.
5. HR Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with employment laws, industry standards, and corporate governance requirements. Proactively manage HR-related risks, including data privacy and workplace safety.
6. Change Management: Lead HR-driven change management initiatives that support our company’s growth and transformation, including organizational development, mergers, and acquisitions.
7. Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI): Promote and advance DEI strategies, driving a diverse and inclusive workforce that reflects our values and enhances innovation.
Your Profile
1. Education: Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
2. Skills: Proven track record of strategic HR leadership with expertise in talent management, organizational development, digitization, reward management, and employee relations. Strong business acumen, with the ability to align HR initiatives with business objectives.
3. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively to executive leadership and the Board of Directors.
4. As a Person: Pragmatic, mentor & coach, courageous, motivator.
5. Location and Travel: This position will be preferably based in Belgium, so some travel will be required as we are based in 18 countries.
