In a dynamic and international environment, the Actuary Profitability role offers the opportunity to actively contribute to reserving activities and profitability analysis, ensuring compliance with financial reporting requirements. The position plays a key role in optimizing profitability across multiple product lines and supporting regional teams on key actuarial topics such as forecasting and capital management.
Responsibilities
Actively participate in the reserving process for IFRS reporting.
Support quarterly reserve calculations under local GAAP, IFRS17, and Solvency II.
Collaborate with key internal stakeholders (Finance, Risk Management, and Actuarial teams) to communicate findings and integrate results.
Present results in Reserving Forums and Committees.
Maintain and enhance actuarial tools for reserving calculations.
Conduct profitability analysis and contribute to process improvements.
Ensure compliance with reserving policies and maintain up-to-date documentation.
Perform in-depth portfolio analysis for ad-hoc reserving and profitability reviews.
Provide technical training on actuarial methods and reporting standards.
Competencies:
Minimum 4 years of experience in actuarial analysis.
Expertise in Solvency II and IFRS17 reporting.
Actuarial qualification from a recognized professional body.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.
Fluent in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus.
Experience in pricing methodologies is a plus.
Exposure to multicultural and cross-functional environments.
Proficiency in coding (R/VBA) is a plus.
Strong skills in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for reporting and presentations.
