As a Business Controller, you will play a pivotal role in driving financial performance and strategic decision-making. You will partner closely with business unit managers, senior leadership, and cross-functional teams to provide critical financial insights, optimize processes, and drive sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Act as a strategic financial partner for business unit managers and key stakeholders, providing insightful financial analysis to drive decision-making.
• Perform financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes to ensure optimal resource allocation.
• Prepare and present in-depth monthly business reviews, offering recommendations to improve financial performance.
• Conduct variance analysis and identify trends, risks, and opportunities to support business objectives.
• Optimize financial processes and implement best practices for operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate business performance and contribute to strategic initiatives.
• Oversee financial risk assessments for projects, ensuring profitability and compliance with company standards.
• Continuously challenge and improve financial reporting systems to enhance accuracy and timeliness.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in business controlling, financial analysis, or external auditing.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex financial data and translate it into actionable insights.
• Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and reporting tools (Excel, SAP, Power BI, or similar).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence decision-making.
• Fluency in Dutch and French; English proficiency is a plus.
