About the Job
We are looking for a Help Desk Support Officer to join a dynamic and innovative IT team based around Liège, Belgium. This on-site role offers an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality IT support. Key responsibilities include:
* Receiving, documenting, and categorizing IT requests.
* Analyzing issues, escalating to the appropriate teams, and collaborating with second-level support.
* Following up on tickets and maintaining proactive communication with users.
* Contributing to the knowledge base to improve processes and optimize service delivery.
About You
You have minimum 4 years of experience in IT or equivalent experience, with a proven track record in a similar support role. Your profile includes:
* Fluency in English and French (Dutch is a plus).
* Technical expertise in Windows 10/11, Office 365, ticketing systems, and IT devices.
* Basic understanding of networking and IT security principles (LAN, WAN, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
* Familiarity with ITIL methodologies is an advantage.
* Familiarity with Jira and Confluence tools is a plus.
* Clear and effective communication, customer-oriented, with attention to detail.
* Adaptability, proactivity, and problem-solving in dynamic environments.
* Strong team spirit and ability to work collaboratively.
