Joining Collibra’s User Experience Research team:
1. We are hiring a user experience researcher to join us in transforming the product experience at Collibra by deeply understanding users’ needs and using data to guide product design decisions.
2. In this role, you will be responsible for recommending, planning, executing, and reporting on what users need the Collibra products to do and how they need it to behave.
3. You’ll work closely with designers, product managers, writers, and customer success to craft and address the right research questions. Your research results will inform product strategy and design, and will be presented to company leadership.
User Researchers at Collibra are responsible for:
4. Working with Designers, Product Managers, Engineers and other UXRs to prioritize research opportunities in an outcome-focused environment.
5. Creating and executing short- and long-term research plans and presenting research findings to diverse internal audiences in order to inform tactical design decisions and high-level business strategy and goals.
6. Conducting sophisticated research on multiple aspects of products and experiences to form a holistic view of possible user experiences.
You Have:
7. A proven history of helping stakeholders and senior leadership make actionable, data-driven decisions based on your research findings.
8. A deep understanding of design best practices and can help guide designers to decisions grounded in those principles in addition to user feedback
9. Extensive experience with all aspects of usability research, from study design and planning through recruiting and moderation to analysis, and reporting of findings
10. Ability to design and conduct unmoderated usability testing using a testing tool (e.g., Usertesting, Userlytics, Playbook UX, etc)
11. Ability to work lean research into agile product deadlines and roadmaps

Reporting to Collibra’s Director of User Research, measures of success are:
16. Within your first month, you will train and work on learning the product landscape and stakeholders
17. Within your third month, you will own and drive the research activities for specific products or project streams
18. Within your sixth month, you will propose a consistent strategy for evaluating product designs and you will be thinking through how to measure and track product health over time and iteration
