1. POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting directly to the Finance Manager EMEA, you will be responsible for overseeing general accounting and coordinating all tax preparation and compliance for the legal entities under your care. This includes full-cycle accounting (A-Z) for 4 legal entities.
Scope - To support the growth and development of the finance department, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Accountant to join our team at the Brussels headquarters (Diegem).

2. RESPONSIBILITIES
* Support accurate statutory reporting for assigned legal entities.
* Assist in month-end accruals and variance analysis.
* Prepare and review journal entries in compliance with internal controls.
* Perform timely and accurate balance sheet reconciliations under supervision.
* Contribute to tax reporting and compliance efforts, working closely with global teams and external advisors.
* Support process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiencies and controls.
* Collaborate with EMEA Finance teams and other departments to achieve shared goals.
3. KEY RELATIONSHIPS
* Work with HR on payroll-related processes.
* Assist in audits and liaise with tax consultants as needed
4. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
* Accounting graduate; working toward a professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, ITAA).
* 2–4 years of experience in financial accounting or reporting, ideally within a multinational environment.
* Exposure to US GAAP and local GAAP preferred
5. KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES
* Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP R3).
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
* Strong analytical and organizational skills.
* Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
* Fluent in English (additional language, especially German, is a plus).
