Job title: Microsoft Dynamics Solution Architect D365 Customer Engagement
Function: Advisory - Manager
You will be involved in determining the architecture for large CRM enabled business transformations. As the solution architect, you have the responsibility to work together with the customer to determine the most suitable architecture and roadmap towards the future state. Business transformations can take multiple years and include not only an actual CRM implementation but also strategy, target operating model, process optimization, and change management. You will have a key role in connecting all the functional domains of D365 CE (such as Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Field Service, Project Service, and Power Platform) towards a concrete solution based on the Microsoft technology stack in general, Dynamics 365 in particular, and the overall application landscape of the customer.
Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Accountable for the proposed solution (architecture, to-be processes) and the realization of this proposed solution.
2. Monitors the daily progress, potential risks, and issues together with the project manager, proposes, and executes mitigations.
3. Leads the Fit/Gap analysis to define the solution design including to-be processes, solution architecture, integration design, migration approach, and non-functional (e.g. performance) requirements.
4. Convinces the client stakeholders as well as the consultants and/or partners of the proposed solution architecture and takes the lead in client sign-offs.
5. Prevents and solves escalations from consultants, partners, and clients.
6. Ensure that the team follows the predefined project methodology and uses the predefined tools in an optimal way and intervenes when needed.
7. Works in close collaboration with the project manager.
8. Takes initiative to be informed about innovations in technology, market changes, methodologies, best practices, and develops internal improvements/innovations.
9. Shares knowledge and coaches consultants towards a higher level.
10. Continuously improves our project methodology, tooling, and templates.
Skills & Qualifications:
1. You have minimum 5 years of hands-on experience and you were involved in multiple large-sized (1000+ man days) CRM implementation projects characterized by systematic and milestone-driven work.
2. You have a non-stop drive to go out of your comfort zone to guarantee an end-to-end solution.
3. You have the ability to work independently, as well as in project teams, and take ownership accountability and responsibility.
4. You like to keep developing your coaching skills by closely working together with other colleagues.
5. You are fluent in English.
6. You are a certified Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service Functional Consultant Associate.
7. You are a certified Microsoft Dynamics 365 Power Apps + Dynamics 365 Solution Architect Expert or are willing to achieve this certification in the near future.
8. Certification in Prince2, PMP, SAFE, or other project management tracks is considered an advantage.
