Caigns and Policy Director (Consultancy) SUMMARY OF ROLE People vs Big Tech is looking for an experienced Caigns and Policy Director to lead on developing and executing movement caign actions that aim to increase the accountability of Big Tech in Europe. The role will have 3 primary functions a) building civil society power through outreach and onboarding of new organisations into the Big Tech accountability movement in Europe b) supporting the movement to carry out high visibility public caigns to support our strategic goals and 2025 Action Plan including rapid response caigns and c) following EU policy developments closely and translating policy opportunities into creative caign actions that can engage and mobilise civil society across different sectors and countries in Europe. The Caigns and Policy Director will run until 31st December between 2 4 days a week at a day rate of up to 320 p/d (compensation based on seniority, experience and location). The role is fully remote and should be undertaken by someone in a Europe friendly timezone. It will require occasional travel, particularly to Brussels. This is an exciting role at the heart of a growing Big Tech accountability movement in Europe, bringing together organisations and people to build our collective power. There is a strong likelihood of continued funding which would allow continuation of the role into 2026.
