Your Work Context
As an Installation Analysis Engineer, you simulate and detail the execution methods with the aid of finite elements simulation software combined with in-house developed scripts. The models are processed and documented in analysis reports in preparation for the works. You will do this in consultation with the Senior/Expert Installation Analysis Engineer.
Your tasks and responsibilities include:
* Interpret and analyze the design parameters, standards, and execution methods for the assigned projects.
* Draw up a detailed analysis of installation methods.
* Point out problems and bottlenecks.
* Assist the Project Manager / Operations Manager in terms of technical issues.
* Provide implementation variants.
* Perform hydrodynamic installation analysis for different subsea products (e.g., subsea cables, flexible products, subsea structures, etc.) for tenders and projects, and support for ongoing offshore operations.
Your Role
You are an engineer with an affinity for installation methods within the offshore sector. You have strong analytical skills and work in great detail. You are an organizational talent with a high degree of independence. Understanding hydrodynamics of marine structures, wave theories, line dynamics, etc., is a plus but not a must. Knowledge of and experience with OrcaFlex and programming languages such as Python is an added value but not a requirement. You will work at the office in Aalst but will make sporadic short trips abroad.
