As an HR Legal Advisor, you will be part of the HR team and give advice and expertise in social law, particularly in:
* Belgian individual and collective labor law
* Legal aspects of compensation and benefits
* Legal aspects of cross-border employment
* Belgian social security legislation
*
Your main responsibilities include:
* Facilitating Social Dialogue: Support the preparation and follow-up of meetings with employee representative bodies in Belgium, such as the works council and the SUCS, to ensure constructive social dialogue and efficient management of social elections.
* Advisory Role: Provide consultative support covering all aspects of HR law to the company on issues related to HR policy and legal procedures.
* Contract Law: Contribute to the maintenance and updating of employment contract templates, manage the template library, and draft and review staff employment contracts.
* HR Policy Management: Assist in updating HR policies and Belgian work regulations, including drafting new HR policies and revising existing ones.
* Legislative Monitoring: Keep track of developments in HR legislation that impact the HR department to ensure compliance.
* Communication: Draft and review HR department communications related to legal aspects.
* Training: Prepare and support the creation of training sessions on labor legislation.
You will be part of the HR department and directly to the Operations Director
* You have a Belgian Master degree in Law
* You have min. 4 years of experience in similar position (coming from Big4 consultancy or inhouse preferably in international environment)
* You are an expert in Belgian employment law
* You have a passion for human resources challenges
* You demonstrate excellent communication and collaboration skills. You enjoy working in a team but can also work perfectly autonomous
* You are business-oriented with a creative mindset!
* Fluent in French, Fluent n Dutch & English
