RESPONSIBILITY AND AUTHORITY
This position will report to a Sr. Manager, Internal Audit and will be responsible for conducting audits and related activities in accordance with an annual audit plan prepared by the VP of Internal Audit and approved by the LivaNova Audit Committee.
PRIMARY ACTIVITIES
1. Conduct audits and projects as assigned;
2. Lead annual SOX compliance efforts by evaluating, documenting and testing internal controls over financial reporting and related systems and providing oversight and training for business owners who test SOX controls;
3. Lead operational, financial and compliance audit engagements, starting with preparation of the audit program through execution and reporting audit outcomes to stakeholders;
4. Conduct data analytics for transactional processes as part of audit procedures;
5. Lead special projects and investigations as required; and
6. Perform other activities as may be required
7. This position requires business travel of up to 15%.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & DESIRED SKILLSET
8. BBA/BA/BS in Accounting or Finance or a Related Field
9. Three to five years in public accounting or in an internal audit role with exposure to U.S. listed companies
10. Mastery of the English language and excellent oral and written communication skills
11. Prefer CIA or CPA or equivalent certifications
12. Experience in analyzing and evaluating internal controls and operational systems
13. Experience with data analytics in an audit environment
14. Solid knowledge of U.S. GAAP
15. Knowledge of AuditBoard and SAP is a plus
16. Experience in a manufacturing and/or regulatory environment is a plus
17. International mindset and cross-cultural working attitude
